I"M BACK EVERYONE! MERRY CHRISTMAS! CHAPYY CHAUNUKKAH! and Happy other holidays!

Let's see. What's happened to me in the past month:
1) I got a job at F.Y.E. (a cd/dvd) store

2) I got a job at Walden Books (which closes this Georgetown location down at the end of January)

3) I smoked pot with a really hot random 40 year old guy

4) The Redskins look like they're headed to the playoffs for the first time in 10 years

5) I GOT A LAPTOP FOR CHRISTMAS AND AM USING IT TO TYPE THIS LIVEJOURNAL entry

6) The new Nicole Kidman/Daniel Craig (the new James Bond) filmed a movie here in DC in Georgetown

7) Daniel Craig visited and bought something at F.Y.E.

8) I saw Matthew Lesko (the guy who sells government secrets during late night infomercials and has all those question marks over his clothes... and apparently on his own bike and car)

9) Mic Fleetwood from Fleetwood Mack came into the store. He's like 6'7" and the woman he was with was like 5'2". He ended up buying Fleetwood Mac cds. What a jackass! TUrns out that he lives in like Alexandria, Virginia, or whatever, and even has a Jazz/Blues club somewhere in Virginia too. I didn't get his autograph but a co-worker did and he was all excited about it. I wasn't. I don't like Fleetwood Mac. Stevie Nicks and Don Henley scare the shit outta me.

10) I"M GOING BACK TO COLLEGE! I'm gunna be studying CRIMINAL JUSTICE!


Nothing else is really going on. Except for the fact that the manager at FYE, Sara, is a total bitch. She always yells at me and I wanna punch her in the face. I even try to avoid her. Everyone has their problems, but there's no need to bring it to work. It seems she's Turkish, and Turkish women in high authority positions feel the need to prove themselves. That's nice and all, but there's no need for her to be a complete bitch. I just don't talk to her. WHen I do, I try to make her laugh so she doesn't feel the need to yell at me. The best part is that no one else likes her. I thought it was just me, but it's not. Everyone that's worked under her has quit cuz she's a bitch. She was even transfered to the Georgetown Park location. When I would talk to other people who work at Georgetown Park, they'd ask, "Oh so you work with Sara?" and I'm like, "Yea!" and then I could see the sadness in their face. They also had that "Good luck" look on their face.

I also joined the Executive Party Function Committee. They decide what major parties DC has. Like the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and holiday parties. Thanks to being a part of this and the DCDSC (DC Democratic State Committee) I've been able to meet all the mayoral candidates, DC Council members like LINDA CROPP, and DC's Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton, who's really REALLY COOL! A lot shorter than I expected, but she kicks all ass! I've also been to alot of holiday parties and got a chance to go to Anacostia and Capital Hill. I'd never really been to those places and it was really cool. And I have to admit that I looked DAMN GOOD in my holiday outfit too.

Linda Cropp even remembered my name! She was like, "Hi Paige!" and I was like, "HEEEEEEEEEEEEY!". I felt soo cooooool!

And one of the local CBS News guys came to FYE too. It was TODD MCDERMOTT. He's hot on television, but he was even more hott in person. EVen without the face make-up to cover up the lines, and the jeans and tucked in CREAM FAREWELL TOUR tshirt in the jeans, he was still good lookin'. He had this big grin on his face too and that got me all giddy and I finally said something. He was short in person too. Oh well he was still hott. Very nice too. The best part of this was when he said, in a sullen, sad, somewhat annoyed, low man voice, "Yea. I have the kids this week.". It was so funny. Turns out that he lives near me too. I mentioned this add he did on TV with his kids sitting on this big green chair outside one of DC's shitty public schools. I said I lived down the street and he said he lived on Resevoir.
